Rehabilitation Services

Haywood Regional Medical Center offers a variety of rehabilitation services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, across both inpatient and outpatient settings. We provide highly experienced and compassionate therapists who strive to facilitate your recovery from an injury, neurological condition, or musculoskeletal issue.

Our Acute Care Rehabilitation team provides evaluations and treatments to patients within the hospital. If you, or a loved one, have had a stroke, an orthopedic injury, or other serious medical condition, we have the resources to help you recover and safely return home or transition to the next level of care.

Our Outpatient Rehabilitation team offers various specialized programs to help improve strength and endurance, increase range of motion and flexibility, reduce pain, improve balance and coordination, enhance functional independence, and much more. We currently provide outpatient services at two locations on the campus of Haywood Regional Medical Center at Haywood Regional Health & Fitness Center and at the Outpatient Care Center.
